My niger triggerfish has recently been moved to a 150g tank with a grouper, naso,snowflake eel and bird wrasse. The bird wrasse came down with ick, so i am currently treating right now with ick attack so the eel doesnt die (its working just taking a while). The trigger shows no signs of ick but is scratching himself on the rocks to the point where he is making the scratched parts turn white. He was just tranfered into a new 15o yesterday because of a defect found after setup. Could he be trying to get debris off of him like small bits of sand? Hes not doing it as much anymore, but I just want to make sure hes ok.

Sounds to me as if he got ich as well.
The whole tank should be let sit for awhile if possible to rid it of all ich...this means with no fish in it.
The trigger sounds like he had a very mild case (can just be itching, and almost no visible signs) and while itching, he scratched himself and then those scratches got a fungus in/on them.
