just got the SB-600 yesterday and I've been playing with it nonstop! Also picked up a hotshoe extension cable so i can use the flash off-camera for some cool effects, at least until my SU-800 arrives later this week. This is the wireless transmitter that will control the speedlights wirelessly.

I NEED MORE SPEEDLIGHTS!!! this thing has completely transformed the way my pictures come out :)

just some random pics

Nice pics. You're welcome. ;)
haha thanks :D but it's all your fault. i'm like a crackhead now. only problem is, i wish i had more money. i want 2 more SB-600s and an SB-800 in case i need an on-camera flash, plus control the others remotely. there goes another $1k :nilly:

LOL... that is what i say 6 month ago.....

i like the results what i see

have been feeling that, instead of 1:2.8 mag macro, should have gone for a speedlight

i was thinking u posted pics of ur project green :grinyes:

Awesome, I have been wanting to get one of these for my D40 for a long time. Could you possibly take a tank photo with the on board flash then take the same pic with the SB-600?

Wait in tell you explore the realm of glass. Got two cameras, five lenses, and looking into flashes now, That's with in two weeks.

Crack head is a understatement.....
