Thanks. All it eats is Hikari Cichlid Gold and Bio-Gold+. Won't touch shrimp or earthworms. Bought him (it) back in September at about 2".

That's awesome that he does nothing but pellets. I have been trying to get my one to do that. He just watches the other fish eat them all up and waits for the shrimp. lol

He hammers them hard at the surface. Won't touch stuff that sinks. He's a freak. I'm not complaining, I'd just feel better if it ate some variety.

just power feed and they will grow.i bought 5 about 3 months ago and they grew about 3" already. the fast one of my dats grew was 7" in one year. i feed my dats 3 to 4 times a day live and alot of bloodworms.
