HI , I was just wondering if this is normal behaviour for an O:

Every morning I turn on the lights and she turns white and budlges out her gills then starts ramming the front panel in my direction.
Also she seems kinda sluggish , she hasen't lost her appitite or anything but doesn't really patrol the tank like she used to. every once and a while she'll flash of the bottom and bubbles ( from the filter) seem to be stuck to her and they float away kinda in a clump so I'm wondering if excess slime is holding the bubbles together when they drift away.

She also seems to be keeping her pelvic fins closer to her body.

Which light do you turn on first? Aquarium lights or room lights? Turn room lights on first.

I never thought of that but The tank is in my bros room , and he won't wake up so turning on the lights will probably get me in trouble :p

Yeah I agree, she's probably confused by the sudden light and may also be seeing her reflection suddenly and attacking it. If a fish can't "escape" its reflection it'll sometimes get depressed and scared.... could account for the clamped fins.

yeah i get up at six and i get home from school at like ten and when i get home my oscar is at the top and when i turn on the light he dont move. yours is just probebly stunded by the light

He's plotting to kill you in your sleep....Reinforce the tank and put a cinder block on top of the tank top.

JK.

Mines has never acted this way, maybe you just got a aggressive O.
