My oddball..... "Zero"

Had this ray for over a year. He's maybe put on an inch. Don't know exactly what he is, all I know is I've never seen anything similar.

Unfortunately he had to be seperated from my Marbles. He's gotten skinny lately and all the Marbles have outgrown him and began picking on him like he used to do to them. He went into my small growout tank last night along with my lil captive bred pup. I'll attempt to beef him back up in this tank with feedings 3-4 times a day. He's went through a similar phase a few months back. A week behind a divider with lots of crawlers seemed to get him back into shape but apparently there was still aggresion issues.

He's actually a lil closer to 7, the angle screws things up, I need a plastic ruler I can throw underneath him.....LOL

He was mature when he arrived here at between 5 and 6 inches.

Don't know if I see this guy getting real big.

Thanks J! Don't know if he's just stressed or what..... He still eats, it just seems like he eats a lot slower then the Marbles. By the time he gets done with a few pieces the food is gone. He ate the day before, but didn't seem interested last night so I moved him. He ate crawlers right after the move and allready had 2 today.

I Prazi'd both growouts last week. Was gonna do daily WCs this week then redose.

Considering the losses I've allready had this week he better shape up fast or I'm gonna loose my mind.

I love the oddball rays. May aparicio is the same as Zero. He is maybe 7" and fully mature. Was mature when I got him and in the last 8 months that I have had him, he hasn't grown at all. Maybe we can breed a "Toy" line out of them. I can see it now, Toy marbles for sale, only get 7", great for small tanks, asking $800 a piece.

That's kinda cheap, typical Marbles can cost that much....

if i had to guess i would say its a cross between a motoro and a smaller species like a retic or hystrix. thats if it is a hybrid.
