Current OHF has the following,
top.PNG

Im running it on a 5*2*2 tank which currently houses 3 aros, 3TFB and 2 plecos. Im thinking of getting a pair of rays thus the need for upgrading the number of trays but have no idea how many levels should I add and the media for them.

Any advise and suggestions bros ?

P.S. Black filter wool and black wool is the same stuff, typo*

Can`t really comment or suggest without more information.
Water quality and clarity, OK?
Either not what you really want?
If not, what`s the problem?
Do you think your tank`s size can support a couple of rays added to your currant stock long term, or do you plan on another tank in the future?

nice setup SG bro!

Water Clarity - so-so, not that clear with micro bubbles all around(i guess that normal for OHF.
i'll be getting a pair of 5-6'' rays only and not sure would the bioload be ok, consider 3aros,3TFB,2rays and 2plecos in a 522 tank .
I just want to improve the system i'm currently using, obviously to benefit my fishes;D

Personally, I wouldn`t accept bubbles or clarity issues from any kind of filter system.
I`ve messed with enough different styles of filtration to know, often small changes can have a big impact.
Obviously, if particulate is getting through your media it needs to be changed.
Lots of stuff out there with porosity sizes that will trap out the gunk.
Just a matter of finding material that gets the water crystal while still allowing flow.
Who knows, maybe while experimenting with media your bubble problem might go away, or not.
Great tank size.
Bet it looks killer.
Adding a couple immature rays would probably have no impact, for now.
A couple years from now, that might not still be the case.
If you can, a pic of your tank would be nice to see.
Good luck.

thanks for dropping by man;D i've researched on the microbubbles and it seems tons of hobbyist(mainly OHF users) experience this and I've not come across any solid way to prevent it yet,
oh so it seems.

p.s. i'll add pics when im free ;)
