I sold this guy about a year ago... the place I sold him too still has him and I will try to get some updated pics when I can. These pics are all pretty old, sorry. He is about 28-29" or so right now. I bought him at about 4-5" in the spring of 2010, I think... I sold him in January of 2013 at about 27".

Nice, bro! Thanks for the thread. From 4" to 27" (TL I assume) in 2.5 years sounds great for this catfish. I wish I was still there to get it into my 4000 gal... I hope your cat will get a proper home. Through years, I've picked up a lot of trade-ins from Pets Plus. I think they'd price it at around $150-$200.
 
Nice granulosus. Ive kept three in my time really gentle giants. Dora cats are definitely the best. Would like to get some again in the future .

Your welcome, lol. They have him in a 150g I think.... going for $200. They gave me $90 for him!! I wish you could add him to the 4,000... he was my most beloved fish, but at 27" he was getting too big for the 265g. Now he is in a smaller tank....sucks.

Common, Western New York! Don't let this great, rare for its size fish IMHO, to go to an improper home!

Canada can help out too! Arapaimag (Michael Bryce), can you take it or alert one of our Canadian colleagues? You know Pets Plus owners better and for longer than most of us. You could give a lecture at Pets Plus to the local MFK chapter and John and Ed should give you the fish for free and then some :) Just thinking aloud.
