My subdom male orangehead has a whitehead pimple on his forehead. It's not huge, but it's noticeable.
I removed a heater the other day to use it in a QT and the temperature dropped to 78 from 83, but only for a day before I noticed and corrected it. In my experience Orangeheads prefer it warmer and show HITH below 80 degrees and this guy did start to show it 3 days ago when the temperature cooled off (as did a female... she's fine now though).
It's 3 days later though and the temperature is back to normal, but now he has developed the zit in that same spot. I added salt and the water is clean so I'm thinking it'll go away on its own, but is there something else I should worry about? Any preventative meds besides heat and salt?
Also possibly relevant: He has kind of been hiding for a couple days now too but I attributed that to getting beaten up a bit by the dominant male. But he does come out for food and defends his territory.
