The biggest jewel cichlid that my buddy didn't buy from me made it to the other side of the barrier... I saved him, I'm not the kind of person to not lol

I had went to fill up the tub to bring water to fill the tank back up after a WC and was pretty surprised to see this

^ yeah that's what I figure would have happened lol I probably would have tried to preserve them like that if they did die.

The jewel is doing fine, a lil roughed up but nothing major
