Man, what a night. I get home, go check out the p's and their gasping for air, two just swimming out of control. That white slime I was talking about spread to others. I immediantly tooked them out, put them in some D/O water at the same temp, adjusted the PH to match the tank water 7.2, and drained everything out of the tank. Wasn't happy with the parameters and neither were they. Seems to me that the freshwater D/O chemicals that come with the kit, I may have added too much of the liquids, Ph was high to my liking, I pretty much dumped the rest of the electrolyte fluid in that was left, which wasn't enough, and adding the quick cure didn't help. Seems that the water was toxic, my rock backround has a tint of blue to it from the quick cure. The white slime may have been their protective coating coming off from the toxins. Anyways, refilled the tank with D/O water, brought the PH to 6.2 and nitrites now show 0 ppm. I rebagged them, let them sit in the new 88 degree water for about 15 minutes and released them. 2 hours later, all swimming around, a few chasing one another, white slime is just about gone, and terrific colors, no more stressed out bans on them. Will check on them after work and school tomorrow night and let everyone know, but for now I thank you guys that helped with the information. Don't think 30-50% would've cut it as for a water change, they looked bad. To top it off, I lost 1 of 6, the whipping boy.
Thanks again, a lesson learned !!!

Jim

It seems like what you may done have helped temporarily, at least, but it may make the tank cycle again, at least a little bit. I am glad they look like they are doing bette now and hopefully it will continue. I would suggest that you add no more quick cure.
