My ornate chases its tail like a dog. lol

Kind of a funny behavior, but sometimes my ornate chases its own tail in a little circle. Do you think something could be bothering him or is he just being funny? Anyone else ever see or experience this? I tried to take a video of it, but then he spotted a bloodworm that he must of missed haha. I do have a picture of him just sitting in a ball but you cant really tell that hes chasing his tail.

Here is a pic of the little guy going in circles after his tail. Those are bloodworms are near him, he is maybe 5 inches.
 
no thats odd! maybe he thinks it's another bichir and is trying to catch it?

its no fair that we just have to see pics :(
 
We're going to need proof of this. I personally think ornates doing anything but laying around and occasionally eating is a myth.

Cool vids. Must just be mine that lays around like a lump. That's pretty much all it's done since day one.
