Hey All,
I got a couple of Oscars a while back and when I got them home I did not notice until then that one had "lucky fins as I call them like on the movie my kids love, Finding Nemo. Being an animal lover in general I do not return pets for later found defects. I just want to make sure this is not some disease and just a defect or maybe it was just beat up as a little one.
It does not seem to have any problems getting around or beating the others to the food. It is growing faster than my other and seems to be doing just fine other than the appearance. It does not seem to be getting any worse in the past month I have had them. Just want to make sure this will not pose problems later down the road. I think I got a pair as they play with each other and the smaller of the two fallows along chasing off the severum if it gets too close. I could be wrong but just my gut feeling. Could this pass on if they do breed etc.
