My oscar died. What species should take his place?

My favorite and largest fish, my oscar, died from bloat =[. It's been killing me and his tank seems so empty. He lived with another 4" oscar, a 5" flowerhorn, a 5.5" jack dempsey and a pair of convicts. I'm wondering what I should get to replace him? I don't want to get another oscar as I already have one, and the new fish must be able to live somewhat peacefully with the current inhabitants. Tank size isn't an issue because I will upgrade as necessary. Always looking for an excuse to buy a bigger tank. Any thoughts on a new fish?
 
I don't really want a midas with my flowerhorn. Looking for something different.

I need something that won't be beaten up by my flowerhorn and jack. I might go with a gt.
 
I hate dats. A jag would be cool though
