Ok I know I'm an idiot... So please don't flame me about how my oscar got hurt...
Anyways I was feeding my Oscar today and I know my Oscar tends to jump out of the water, trying to get the food and all but today I decided to hold my
hand up a little higher then I normally do... So my Oscar leaps out of the water and nibble the tip of my finger alittle. Then outta no where as soon as he got back into the water he quickly jump again right away, and it shocked me. Afterwards I noticed something floating around in the water like a tiny piece of flesh...
Then I noticed that my Oscar has a small cut...? near the tip of his Dorsal Fin... its a minor injury... But I just want to know what should I do to help my Oscar heal up... And also would his wound heal back to it original way?(As in like is it going to scar him or will it return to the natural color it was before)

Anyways the good part is he still swimming around happily like it never happened... And He still has an appetite like a champ... This is a good sign right...?
Anyways I am open for any Advice, Thoughts, and Ideas... Please help me out and Thank you ahead of time (:

Just add a little aquarium salt and make sure the water is clean and he should be fine. As far as scaring goes it should heal up back to it original state after some time

Crazy mike is right. If you really worried, you can go to Petco or LFS to get a bottle of MelaFix. MelaFix is pure natural, will not hurt fish's appetite and will not make water look ugly. it will prevent bacteria infection, and it will help cure wounds.

Remember that, Oscar is super hardy, you almost can't find a way to kill it.(besides like take them out of water or boil the water things)
