I recently got my oscar fish about 2 weeks ago, I have a red oscar (2inch) and a lemon tiger Oscar (3.5inch). I'm assuming that the oscar is beating up the other oscar. my oscar back fins are almost missing and there is a low chance of my fish surviving. Is this normal for this to happen? is there anyone that i can keep two oscar together?

Note: i feed them twice a day.

I assume the bigger one you had for a while? If so he or she had made the tank it's territory and was defending as so.

When ever introducing cichlids you need to radically change your tank decor then add the fish to the tank at the same time. That way they are both in new area with no set teritorys. There will be a bit of fists ta cuffs as the new territory are set. But will fade away in time. But to be safe you should have a tank separator or spare tank to separate them. Some fish can and will live with others. Some just won't no matter what you do to help. Much like humans each cichlid has it's own personality.

i added the smaller one a day before the big one

Your tank is far too small for 1 oscar, let alone 2.
You will always have issues trying, either due to aggression or disease like lateral line erosion.
I would choose a different smaller species of fish or get a much bigger tank.

I had two adults in 125g and it wasn't enough room for those two to get along lol. I rearranged the tank, beefed up the filtration, gave a slow intro thru a divider. ...No go, dude.

One fish tried to get along peacfully but when the other one wouldn't stop being a jerk, she got tired of his sh** and kicked his butt.

It was just a differnce in personality. She was easy going but he's just a d!ck.
