I fed my oscar today and there was a black and white spot on his forehead:WHOA: a couple of days back it rained really hard and the entire pond was very muddy:eek: i took him out and fixed it so now its cristal clear and he's back in can someone pleeze giv me a picture of a fish whith hith??? and explain what it looks like and how to treat it?
pictures would be really hard to get but i will try.
thanks to any one who can help;) i really need it :(

It would be easier if you gave us a pic of your oscar.

As far as what it looks like, well, it looks like a hole in their head, a crater in their cranium. Treating it is as simple as keeping their diet varied, and their water very clean.

i have no pictures, but water changes and water changes and water changes and a good diet will clear up hith.

He might have it his head i will try to get pics

Bump:D

hith looks like it has little holes.. 1/8inch diameter? on its head. Actually breaking through the top layer of the skin. It is more common among oscars. Some say its linked to feeding feeders., so switch to pellets, but IMO I think poorwater quality is also a contributor.
