Just wanted to show everyone my Oscar tank stocked with:

- ONE OSCAR named Gus (approx 8 or 9 inches long)

I started this tank off with the oscar, a JD, two convics and a Polenni. I got rid of the JD and the convicts when they all started growing too large (i intended on starting up another tank for them, but decided against it). The Polenni lived with Gus for about a year but Gus murdered him out of the blue one day! Pretty impressive because both fish were about 7 inches long at the time. So now Gus has his kingdom to himself. He (she?) is extremely territorial and will attack and bite my hand when i vacuum the tank. He also charges at anyone getting within 3 feet of the tank, including the Cat who loves to drink "fish flavored" water.

the 90 gal tank has a Design by Nature background.I've managed to keep 2 Anubias alive and happy for almost 2 years now, growing on the background. I have 2 Fluval 405's running 24/7 and the tank always has perfect water parameters. I do 40 - 50% water changes every week.

Gus when he was smaller, wonder why his color changed so dramatically?

The Polenni.. RIP. That was a cool looking fish but the water quality increased after his passing

nice to see a O properly housed!!! great looking fish and awesome tank.

Thanks all! :)

I like overfiltered tanks and i hate overstocked tanks. This tank is sitting right in the living room and the fish is part of the party, it seems to keep him entertained!

looks really good, needs a bit of greenery though imo:)

Yeah i had a lot more Anubias on the 'wall' but the Oscar kept ripping them off.. The two that survived are part of the scenery i think and he doesnt see them as something he might be able to destroy.. I dont like fake plants so im kind of out of options. That and i actually like the look of the submerged tree..
