I got what I thought was ich so I treated my fish with some over the counter stuff from my lfs but after two days their eyes became cloudy and now they are laying on the bottom of the tank dying!!!! I have done 3 25% water changes in the last 5 days and added aquarium salt and raised the temp to 85-86 my children will be heartbroken if their favorite oscar dies please help

cloudy eye is a result of some sort of bacterial infection either from interanal parasites or in the water table itself
sounds like it may to late try and do 100% water change add some some prazipro as a bath to treat internal parasites and add melafix for an antibacterial med the melafix is natural try that first and if there is no cahange in a day add the prazipro your not supposed to mix prazipro with other meds but in this case i would think itll help add a little salt a tablespoon per 5 gals helps the fish breath easier
also i had a bacteria outbreak that caused cloudy eye in my tank i did a large water change and added a uv sterlizer it worked great but like i said it sounds like your fish have advanced to far good luck and keep us posted if you have any improvement or need more advice.

In general I gree with fishnutham on this but would use an anti biotic instead of prazipro, something like gentamycin, neoplex, or tri-sulfa. I do have to ask though, with all the water changes are you sure you remembered to dechlorinate each time, if you are not sure add some dechlorinator.

yeah I did de-chlor every time I did a water change I even added more aquariium salt at 1 tbs per 5 gallon replaced I used melafix and they are on the road to recovery!!thanks.

Just a thought, some meds like formalin and malachite green (found in some anti-ich meds)can lower the resistance of a fish to bacterial invasion, especially with a slight overdose.
