I have three oscars and a Pacu in a 100 gallon tank which they have lived in happily for two years until now. My three oscars have stopped eating and they are usually vey aggressive eaters. The pacu still eats heavily. My ammonia is good, the only thin is that my water is over heated due to lack of air conditioning, the water is about 88-90 degrees. Anyway, I am very worried because it has been weeks sine they have eaten anything and they are still alive and swimming normally, no visual damage or illness, just the refusal to eat. Sometimes they take food in and them spit it out which they have never done. Any suggestions? I have a Fluval 405, eheim 2218 & 2215 running on the tank with airstones. Tank water is clear, a bit smelly. I tried water change, not much difference at all. Thanks

I do not think you have anything to worry about. The temp is a bit high for them so they have probably slowed down but they are okay. Believe me they will not let themselves starve.

Disagree. High temps increase fish's metabolism/appetite so his fish not eating indicates something seriously wrong.

@OP: What are your water parameters? I'm suspecting Internal parasites though.. I suggest doing a large water change(75%+) and then dooing the tank with metrondinazole. Good luck.
