i made a video but damn mac computer messes up all the detail in imovie... besides killing the creator of macintosh, anything to help me on this strange occurance?

like he stops, then the end of his dorsal fin and tail fin just sorta quivers and shakes every so often, very subtle but noticeable. then he goes right on swimming.

does he have any tankmates?
They do this when they want to let the other fishies know that they are on his territory.
If you have other oscars it can also mean that, but also be a mating ritual.

oh... lol then it was probably "rattling" to me. LOL. cause my face was 2 inches from the glass tryna figure out what it was doing. but what?? awww i thought iwas its friend. it usually likes me and now all of a sudden "Get away" lol.

well oscars don't really smile so you can never tell. unless that means "i like you :)" because i remembered that cichlids usually hiss and vent up when they hate you. (you can't hear the hiss cause its under water). but they open their mouth all "AHHH!!" like and come toward you.

lol I thought videos were all macs were good for...

definitely not. they suck at everything except helping old ladies across the street and making little preppy girls happy when their mom forks 3 grand for a 126mb RAM 1.8GHz macbook to match their pretty little ipod.

atleast its pretty PFFFFFFFT

.......i want a mac now =pp

It could just be little muscle spasms, nothing to worry about.
He's not doing it on purpose, that's not typical cichlid behavior.

My three do that. They also ram the front of the tank open mouthed when I put my face near.
