Here are my oscars. Whiteout and Butthead. Yes there was a Beavis (red oscar) but he passed away. They're about 12 inches with Whiteout being a tad bigger. I've had them for about over a year and no fry or eggs so I know they're both the same sex. I'm thinking both male.

Butthead loves to get in your face.

So tell me what you think. PS they're recovering from HITH...

looking good

Looks like the red tiger is getting HITH. Other than that they look good.

I like the looks of Whiteout...and I did notice Butthead's HITH, glad to hear it's going rather than coming. I like oscars :)

Thanks, yeah I've been only getting rid of their HITH with melafix and some OTC petstore meds... need to get a hold of that Fish Zole!! Whiteout has had it bad too, it's just his colors kinda mask it up better than Butthead's. I think all in all, they need a bigger tank (getting a 100G soon) and the Fish Zole with some melafix and the holes should start semi-patching back up.

A bigger tank would be great for them, in the meantime be sure to do LOTS of water changes and give a good varied diet...maybe add some vitamins for them.

They are nice lookin, I love O's!!!!

Yeah. I know... but! I just got them a 65G long today so at least they'll be in a bigger tank. I got the 65G all-glass tank and an pine stand for $130 from a pet store going out of business!!:grinno: All I know is I CAN'T wait till they're in there and more than likely for the first day, huddled in the corner. I'm keeping the 47G tall but I don't know what to put in there. I know I don't want messy fish since it won't be next to the kitchen sink ready for water changes.

Well, the 65 will be better then the 47...just do lots of water changes, personally I'd do 2-3 a week...do you have lots of filtration?

For the 47....how bout Angle fish, Sevs, or a nice African tank? Just my thoughts on it...LOL;)

I plan to have lots of filtration. Right now for the 47 I have two 55G filters. We plan on getting a better filtration system.

But yeah we were thinking for the 47G we would put in fish from every water level and much more of a community type than aggressive. But I've seen some Angel fish that look really pretty so I'll have to check that out.
