im planning my next tank... im thinking taking out the overflow box and just use bulksheads instead. im thinking thinking installing the bulkheads on the left and right side of the tank... any suggestions?

Only thing to consider is the tank and placement of plumbing, if it works with what you want and looks good enough for you I dont see any problems with it...

Bulk heads are much better imo.I can't even hear my tank when I'm sitting next to it. I use to have an overflow box and it was so noisy I hate it. Much more worth it to take your tank to a saltwater shop and have them drill it and place a bulk head on it for like $30 bucks.
I always love the idea of using bulkheads, but be careful how you place the holes. You would be interupting viewing area by having them on the sides.
