lol ok so here it is...i'm done buying new fish. i by far have enough. they're all young fish and still very small, but i know they'll grow out into monsters and i'll be forced to get rid of a few or most of them sooner or later....but for now here is what's in my 75 gallon tank.....are you ready?.....

1 - 9 inch common pleco
2 - jack dempseys.....1 is about 3 inches, the other 4 inches
1 - 3 inch firemouth
1 - 3 inch black convict
1 - 2 inch green terror
1 - random 3 inch cichlid dont know what it is...
1 - 4 inch albino oscar
1 - 4 inch 'scolofi' (as p45 called it)

and last but definitely not least...
1 - 5 inch Crenicichla sp. Venezuela
1 - 6 inch Crenicichla sveni

bust my balls if you must, but tell me what you think and which ones i should get rid of first, which ones would outlast the others, whatever.

get rid of the pleco and oscars first. Get rid of them pronto.

Next, get rid of the green terror, convict, firemouth, and a JD.

Keep the two pikes, a JD, the scolofi, and the un-ID'ed cichlids depend on what species they are... Do they look like scolofi in terms of body shape, or like JDs/american cichlids?

I would get rid of the pleco too, pics of the unknown cichilds would be helpful and nice.

why the pleco first? cuz he's so big? i thought he'd help keep the algae down due to all the other fish lol.

and yes, the un-id'd looks like the scolofi type.

pleco puts out extreme amounts of waste. They're also common.

The un-ID'ed fish are varying types of african mbuna cichlids as well, then. You can keep them with the JD and pikes for life.

I would also keep the albino oscar, they have tons of personality and tend to be very smart. :)

its either keep the oscar or get rid of the pikes. So I say get rid of the oscar, no question about it.

yea oscar can go that's no biggy, i got another (tiger) oscar in a 30 gallon by itself.

hmm....if that fish place gives a 1/3 trade in value for fish.....how much is a 9 inch pleco worth?

You'd be lucky if they give you ANYTHING for it.

$5 for it would be a very very good deal.

An oscar in a 30g huh? No coment. BTW...plecos often suck as algae eaters and produce tons of crap, if you like plecos thats fine but if all you want is to use it as an algae eater loose it. As for the others...watch them for a long while, decide who you like most and loose the rest. How common they are does not matter, what matters is if you like them.
