For the first couple of weeks I had him I NEVER saw him eat. I started putting live blackworms infront of him and he nibbles at them and has fun hunting them, but doesn't gobble them down. So I couldn't find massivore pellets at my LFS, but I came across aquarian sinking shrimp pellets, and man he goes nuts for them! I just fed my eel and the cichlids in the tank (Its only temporary as another tank had a problem and I had to throw the Africans in that tank) So as soon as my 180 is done cycling that will be his new home and my eels new home. But I threw some pellets infront of him for the first time and he gobbled them down and got very aggressive towards the other fish when they got near his pile. He sat ontop of them and if a african came near him would snap at em. Just thought I would share Lol. Here is a pic of my little guy.
