just got my pbass like 3 days ago and they wont eat. they are in a tank with a 10 in spotted gar. is it because they are scared or because they are getting use to it. need help any comment

Need more info so we can help you. How big is your tank? Water param. What are you trying to feed them? How big are they? There are a lot of experienced fishkeepers who raise Pbass on this sight that can give you some good advice. They just need some more info.

have you tried feeders, bloodworms, silversides or market shrimp. THose are some of the easiest foods to get them to eat...In my opinion. IN that order as well.

^ Agree. Need all this info man. There may be a simple solution once we get it.

the pbass are 4 inches the gar is 10. they are in a 150 gallon. i am trying to feed them minnows. not sure wat the water condition is but should be good cause had the gar in there for a while and he is doing fine.

First thing is you need to buy a test kit like API's. Just because your gar is okay doesnt mean your water is a little off. How often do you do water changes?
You could see what they were fed before you got them but I would say for now keep some guppies in there with them, they will get hungry sooner or later.

i do weekly water changes. the water temp is 82. the ph is around 7 to 7.5. ammonia level is good. there are like 50 minnows in the fish tank. the minnows have been quarantine for 3 days and look healthy. everything seems to be fine
