Ok guys, I just witnessed my pacu trying to eat a bio-ball.(earlier in the day) He was chewing the crap out of it and he spat some of it out, but the rest he swallowed(I think).
Is it possible for the fish to digest it or has he written his own deathnote. It was my fault for throwing grape size bioballs in(mixed with larger ones). I just checked my sump/Filter sock and found more bits and pieces
but no large chunks of the bioball.

But here is some of the bioball(pces) that didnt get sucked down to the sump

I have bio balls the lady at the store said non toxic and she said it was fine with fish so you should be fine one of my many bettas split one in half and he's happy:)

^What redbelly said. I'd watch for signs of an impaction. Let me ask, this may be a rookie question, how did he get to the bio balls? Don't people who use these keep them in a sump etc away from where the fish can get them?
