my pacu turned pale...?

my pacu has developed cateracts and his body is turning white. what is going on here?

I don't know about the pale body but usually when the eyes start to get cloudy it is caused by having too much ammonia. Test your water and if it's high with ammonia, start doing water changes. If you take care of the ammonia problem, most of the time the fish will come out okay. The Doctor.

Like he said. Whats your water change schedule? Sounds like to many toxins in there.

like said above...it sounds like you need to step up your water change schedule. test your water parameters and post the results here. i think this will allow people to help you the most.

you guys are right, he looks alot better but he has lost some IQ though...my job has me away most of the time and his caretaker seems to be losing interest so my hands are up in the air for now. thx!
