my pair of Hemichromis elongatus

my pair arrived today from mainly cichlids . i have them in a 55 gal just for a couple of days until i build a stand for there tank , they are in with a texas, a red terror and a pike, i was in fear of them beating up up the pike but they pike is picking on them , but that can quickly change , he is not harming then just bothering them. update my female is real dark i am not sure what that means , but the edges of her fins are real dark and her spots are faded

Nice Five Stars! Mainly Cichlids is one of my local fish stores. Cool warehouse style store with some really rare stuff. The owner Jim is very friendly and knowledgeable.
