Okay so I know that parrot eggs dont really hatch into babys... but I have two parrots dunno whats male or female none the less they showed signs of breeding ne who I just think its neat that my fish laid eggs!!!! :D its my first egg experience! I tried to take pictuers but they eggs are in/on the edge of a clam shell.. (its empty the clam died long ago so I cleaned out the shell and put it back in the tank its open) but its leaning up in a weird way so its hard to see them. Anyways here is the parrot that is protecting them and the brown looking spots in the clam is the eggs.. I guess this is why they were so mean when I had other fish in the tank I took everything out except for a small bumblebee cat that hides all the time ne who. :naughty:

anyone ever have experience with them? will the bumblebee cat eat them (its really small like 2inch maybe and will the parrots eat them?

Nice!!! You actually have a good chance of them hatching since your parrots look to be short-bodied convicts.

short bodied convicts...aka jellybean parrots. if the eggs weren't fertilised then chances are the female will take care of them for you. :)

Will she still eat them if they are fertile?, the parrot thats by them now is just swimming right over them and attacking anything that gets near it. None of the eggs look like they are missing I ve been keeping a close eye on it. They been there for either 2 or 3 days I didnt see the tank sunday so I dont know if they were there but they were there all day yesturday and still here now.

Thanks everyone I am so happy that my fish just even laid eggs lol!
