My parrot's tail fin

I got a blood red parrot from petco like 2 weeks ago. I know, not a reputable breeder, but he was on sale for $10 and I had to get him. Once in the tank, someone gave him a couple nibbles on his tail fin, nothing serious, but it has regrown and the new growth is black in color. It appears healthy in nature other than this new fin growth. If anyone has had this or seen this before, let me know. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before.

he'll be fine buddy. And petsmart is FAR from a breeder, they are peddlers. Your fish will look normal in no time, just keep nice clean water and give it some TLC.
 
yes when parrots get damaged they'll get black patches.. whenever he gets to a calmer enviroment the black will go away.
