My Peacock Bass going at it!

Here are some pics of what I suspect to be Occells going at it. Hopefully one is male and the other is female, and is lucky enough to get a pair out of the three.

And soon to join them is 5 more grow outs!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I don't think they are self fertilizer to the best of my knowledge about Cichlas.

A hybrid huh?! Sounds cool! BTW can Occells have black mohawks?

and i dont think that its even remotly possible that they are breeding at that size.

Here are some more pictures of them going at it AGAIN! in flash. For some reason, whenever I turn on the bigger lights on their tank, these two seem to get more aggressive. BUT they are usually calm and peaceful towards each other.

I know they are too young to start breeding but I'm just hoping they can pair off in the future IF I'm lucky enough. BTW they are all around 6"-7" (smallest), and 8"-8.5" (biggest).

Any other inputs on these Peacock Bass such as ID is welcome!

mono/ocell farm hybrids is my guess.
ive heard of them breeding at that size.
but just the farmies.
