Howz it doin guys,

I am a new owner of a monoculus and have kept him since almost fry stage ive fed him pellets, frozen blood worm and brine, some live feeders and mostly frozen river prawn, but just recently hes gone of his food. He still comes to the front and hammers the prawn but then spits it out, he takes feeders still though, has he gotten fussy?
Does anyone know if he will go back to normal and eat the more convenient dead frozen stuff or will he refuse the food until death? Which i'm thinking that i will feed him prawn and its either eat it or die!!!:naughty:

will go back to frozen just keep trying and check ur water. how big and what r his tankmates?

The water is pristine, he is now about 3 inches and is in with a silver arowana, 1 datnoid, 1 birchir and some plecos and catfish but none of these fish really bother him.The tank is a 6x2x2

Sounds picky too me from the spitting out of prawn but still eating feeders. Feed him feeders to fatten him up and then switch him over again.

Hes gotten real bad he has a sunken belly and cant keep feeders down i think hes got an internal infection!! dunno what to do will my other fish cach it?
