This is my mantis shrimp. His name is Dr.Boomer. got him thru my buddy about 5 months ago. People love him. he is the first one to get checked out when people come over with the frequently asked question... when is the last time you fed him, hoping they will get a show. Nice! IMO peacock mantis' are a bit overrated in their popularity...I personally think P. ciliata and N. wennerae are more interesting, but I'd obviously gladly buy any mantis any day...

Mine was sent to live in my refugeum, which is piled up with all sorts of rubble rock for him to redecorate. Folks love to come over & watch him eat too.
