He is approximately 11". I'm not sure how old he is, but I got him last February at about 5".

Wow what a spurt. Yea i had the same thing happen. But at 4-5" and about a year later hes at 8-9" their growth can sneak up on you huh? I didnt even pay him much attention then poof he was huge.

Omg yes! Mine eats till he super fat bellied. Hes always the one in the tank with the biggest belly.

I love watching him swim around too. They are very playful.
