My Petco Betta

I work at petco, so I get first picks on anything that comes in. And I usually hate bettas but this one came in and i had to buy it. its a half moon but soooomebody "accidentally" put it in the cup for a regular veiltail so it didnt cost much. Sorry for the bad pix, I didnt have anything to stand on and its on the fridge so I was on my tippy toes n couldnt really get the angles I wanted...

Very amazingly colored betta! Sometimes you can get lucky at PetCo and Petsmart. I also like the color of the gravel.

I am hoping the tail and top fin grow out and match up with the anal fin, then it would be perfect. And about getting lucky, theres no luck involved. u just needa show up the day the fish come in and pick out the nicest bettas
theres always a couple really nice ones

its got brilliant color and for the fins to be as they are now they need stretching exercise
use a mirror, let it flare its fins from time, like a few minutes or so everyday
and the pattern is simply sweeeet

very nice betta i love the color i want one like that i have to get another cause my female died today she jumped out of her tank. i wish my male would pose like that how did you get him to flare

he was gettin pissed off at the flash. i use an external which i hold above the tank... n he didnt like it one bit
