Let me know what you guys think. It might not be a show fish by any means but he/she is one of my favorites. first flowerhorn. I'm also including a picture of the only foods I use. Should I supplement the diet?

Your fish does not need cornmeal- chances are that's the number 1 ingredient in your flake food.
Think of flakes as potato chips- or twinkies.
I use Hikari as well. I also feed bloodworms (instead of potato chips). I go with a floating pellet food and a sinking one. My JD also really likes wardley sinking shrimp pellets as an occasional treat. (My midas wont touch them though) I've heard spectrum 1 used as well with good results as far as stuff you can find at stores. You can order expensive stuff online like Southern Delight that work well I find that varying their diets works just as well.

Interesting to know about the crisps, I didn't think they were that bad. I'm gonna pick up some floating cichlid food to see how they like it. Thanks for the input

I hope it's a female also so I can get a male ;) as far as the kok I would eventually like a show quality flowerhorn but this is a learning experience for me and I really enjoy this fish. It eats a ton and has a psycho personality. Not really scared of anything. I'll keep the updates coming
