A new addition to my overcrowded 75g tank. A 14in Cichla Ocellaris which I got for $32 or 1500php :)

Do you guys think I can still add 1 big datnoid? Or a motoro stingray? I do 50% wc twice a week togerther with my other 75g discus tank.

a ray no way,you will never get food to it with all those fast eaters.Eventually the 75 will be too small for everything but the sd's.sooner then later.

I was thinking that too, and with the high bioload of the tank even with higher wc's I cant keep the nitrates that low for the ray. The community with be transferred to a 6x2x2 180g in a few months

AHAHA!! that is an amazing thread, with some amazing setups ;)

I can't say much..although my 125 isn't overcrowded now..soon as my 3 juvenile cichla monoculus, and 1 juvenile silver arowana grow up the tank will be way too smal..not to mention my ray ;)

just be sure to get a larger tank soon...and DO NOT ADD A RAY =p
 
that tem doesnt look good.. looks like he's gasping for air and is a bit slow too
 
i agree that Tem looks like he doing alot of heavy breathing.....Add some air stones or check your water.
