My pike cichlid pix

Male 10" he has a female 7" as well but no sign of breeding yet .
They are good tankmates and i think make the tank a lot more interesting!
They like to nibble my fingers when i put my hand in to change decor makes me jump but has not cut skin YET!

What kinda pike is it? Lepidota? My LFS is selling one for $40 at 8". Thinking of robocopping it for the tank....

Thank you I have ordered another tank but it will be 8 weeks then I intend on putting rd , red terror , jag , dovii in there will give mire space

will post some pics of female when I can . She is a lot darker and tends to guard the territory at back of tank . She is much prettier IMO

Saxatillis I paid £50 for pair which I thought was cheap as they are first ones I have seen in 4 years in UK . I would get it

Not sure if that is actually the SPECIES. They are in the Saxatilis GROUP, but not really sure which species they are. It doesn't appear to be saxatilis or lepidota though, as its missing the humeral blotch, or its hard to see. Perhaps its a variant?

A picture of the female would be most helpful.
