I dropped one in the big boys tank the other day, keep in mind, I don't have any really big bass, and he got the **** kicked out of him. I threw him back in the grow out tank with torn fins and what not. It's a bummer. He was 5" and the biggest bass was 8" and an Ocellaris. wtf?

:irked:

good thing you were around to save him, it could have been worst. Hopefully it makes a quick recovery. Good luck

Yeah. I left him in there for 4 days and everyone was just kinda picking on him here and there and wouldn't let him eat. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lame!

Move all the decor around in the big tank.

Your bigger bass have probably established a territory and heirarchy already.. as mentioned above try rearranging the decor and take out the bigger bass, then add the small pinima first then re introduce the bigger bass..

or you can just send him my way :D i'll tuff'n him up!!!!

the pecking order was established...he was the "new guy"...
of course they would beat on him.
try doing what silver said...

Rearranging the decor often doesn't work, I've found. A better thing to do is add alot(I mean ALOT) of new decor. This extra decor will create numerous unknown hiding places for the new fish, as well as completely change territorial boundries. The extra decor can be removed usually in less then a week or when the new fish is able to feed with the others. JMO/E
