well the female is coloring up and the male has dug a huge nest under the dec i had in there and wen i have my hand close to the tank he shakes at my hand LOL its to cute but serious for him i bet. and i thought i saw there tubes out but not for sure so does this sound like eggs comming soon or already laid??

well the female is bright orange and tbe showing byt cant see one on the male tho but very protective of his nest area tho
you're "convict breeder" you should be the pro lol. I honestly don't even pay any attention to my convicts. One day I come home and they have eggs. Then its time to get out the turkey baster and give all my other fish a snack.. Sounds like typical ca/sa breeding behavior to me though.
Sounds like they're making the bed. This is when you really want to watch them and study their actions, routines and behavior. Interesting stuff to learn, even with easy-breeders like cons.
