I have recently decided to make a little project, and I invite you all to join in. Im simply documenting the growth of my piranha, and i will continue to do so every month until they or if they hit 12".

In my previous thread you can see them feeding on bloodworm, and you hopefully can judge their size compared to the videos just recently shot. The feeding was a month and a half ago, these videos are today:

The second will follow, shortly, problems with youtube.

DAMN!!! i have never really seemed interested in piranha's, its very odd to me that they can live in that tank not touching the others(tetras) and as soon as that poor comet was in there they tore that ass up!! lol so me not knowing anything why the hell is that?

piranhas do grow fast. expect 3" before the end of the first month. or atleast by the end of the 2nd month. mine are about 4 months old now and they range from 4-5" already. they do get way more agressive as they grow. having more always makes them way more fun as well. the overcrowding as some would call it is what generates the more agression. its the competition for food which is what increases there willing to do more. keep up with the updates. i grew mine from .5" lol

Sorry about this the videos arent displaying, they should be up and running, ill keep you posted

Pygos grow fast! I grew my natts from .50" to 8" in eight months! My piraya grew from 3" to 8" in about 4. months! I grew them out in a 55gallon feeding nothing but market shrimp, nightcrawlers, and fish fillets/guts (left overs from various fish fries!). Since their tank was next to my bed I swear to you that every morning I wok up I could tell they had grown some from the previous day.
