This is my Pixie frog in a different set-up, what do you think ? Do you guys have extra advice or pics of your set-ups? These frogs are great and they are a lot more interesting than the pacmans!! I think it is a male? PLease give me some feedback, I like to hear from other frog owners!

Pretty cool. We have one at work that is about 5 inches now. When it came in it was about quarter size. Eats like a pig. If I'm dumping food in and not being fast enough he will jump up and attack the bag.

Whats that substrate your using? Looks like it dries out quickly. Sphagnum moss and eco-earthhold humidity well, you might wanna give that a try. If you have pics of the underside we can probably tell gender.

good luck with him! :)

The substrate is too dry, try misting it a few times a day to keep it moist but not too wet/soggy or it'll stink up real fast.

Try to get a few closeup shots of the frog, can help try sex it for you.

Cool frog! I have not gotten into anything but fish yet, but I am thinking.

Thanks everyone, its good to be back here on MFK ! The substrate gets water but dries out to quickly so I have been misting it, I think I'll try something else next time like the Moss? Hey Wurm frogs are great and require less space than fish, no 1000 gallons of water so it no big deal getting another small pet on the side. I think it is male because it has color on the belly, he likes floating in his water dish, the first time I saw this I thought it drowned!

These frogs can make a mess real quick but are pretty clean. Mines has always relieved themselves in their water dish so afterward I just have to change it out.

Colors on the underside is never a reliable way to sex these frogs. I used to think same the way, that the males will have yellow/orange underside. The only sure way to sex these when young is to look at the head profile.

Here's a link to some old pics of my pair
