well i already have my stock list that i will do if i decide if i want to do a male female malawi tank, now heres a list i came up with if i decide i wanna go all male. mind u im just learning cichlids and not sure i am even able to find these fish ?? i do know i will be buying from online venders. heres my list this is for 125gallons

great list. african cichlids are fun fish. I have five tank on my own. you can do an all male peacocks becauese there is so many great colors or tangs tank. good luck ^_^

copadichromis trewavasae wont color up in an all male tank.. at least i have a male in my male tank and he's not colored up at all.. i dont think mbuna do well in male tanks the suggested ratio for mbuna is 1m/4-7 females to spread out the aggression.. that being said i have a large breeding group of tropheops elongatus boadzulu in my male peacock and hap tank but they have plenty of ladies.. also peacocks hunt inverts in the sand and sift sand all day long.. they kind of eliminate the need for catfish.. that being said i have a whole bunch of catfish in my male peacock/hap tank.. you can try keeping whatever you want what works or doesnt work for one person might not have the same effect in someone else's tank..
