150gallon 6 foot tank

led lighting

fx5 filter

black sand or crushed coral (leaning to black sand)

DIY holy rock (lots of it)

try to get all tropheus at the same time (would like to get 2 or 3 kinds will probably get 1 kind)

feed NLS or spirulina (have read can use both)

other fish I would like to add would be synodontis catfish and rainbows (read rainbows can give the tropheus something to chaise other than each other)

If you go with more than one group of tropheus, make sure they are not very similar, or they will hybridize. I wouldn't add the rainbows. Otherwise you seem to have covered most of the bases.

yeah sounds like you have it covered if you are only feeding spirulina you would need to supplement the catfish diets. and yeah make sure the types of tropheus are really different looking.

Stick with one species, black sand looks nice but also shows the poo poo quite a bit.. As far as rocks go I have a lot in my tank but most would suggest a pile at each end of the tank.

Sounds like you got your bases covers for the most part. Depending on your local water the crushed coral might not be a bad idea. Or even better, go with an Aragonite sand such as CaribSea Special Grade. It'll help to buffer your pH
