this isn't my first planted tank, but is my first serious planted tank.
specs,
3ft x 18" x 18" Tank
Lit by 2x 36 W 2.5' T8 bulbs.
Substrate Eco Complete
Filtration
1x Aquis 1000 Cannister Filter.
1x Aquatopia 400 Internal Filter
now onto what i did.
the tank i was using was actually holding my attempt at a reef before i upgraded it to a 4ft tank.
after a quick clean i decided to try my hand at a painted background.
i love the look of the background painted on, such a difference to the normal piece of paper at the back.
the tank now set up with substrate filtration /heater installed.
(also cleaned the inside thoroughly.
my first planted and driftwood in the tank (pinched out of another tank)
so far loving the look and how the plants stick out and look so bright
and finally the tank finished planting, hoping the hair grass will carpet out a bit more, could have done with some spreading but, i'm in no rush
also below some of my denizens, can you guess what my favourites are? heres a hint there spotty
