Hi all i am new here and i just wanted to show my Midas cichlids

Looks pretty good. I'm interested to see how this tank works out in the long run. The small fish and plants don't normally mix with Midas but it isn't unheard of. Your male looks to have a lot of potential too. Keep us updated on this one.

Well i was thinking they would eat the neon´s but it's been two over weeks since i moved them, and i keep them well fed :-) so anything is possible

ill let you know if they do, or if they mess up my scape, well the scape i am going to change on fredag i am change the button to sande and primerily use java ferns and anubias

If i want more red offspring would you bred the male midas with a Blood parrot or do you think he will kill it?

I would leave it. If they don't tare it up awesome! Give some slate for spawning area. But the fish may not attack the plants nor fish since there are just so many of them.

Sand is fine but expect a weeks worth of settling time on the fine debris of the sand.
