Hey all. Been a lurker for a while. Looking to get back into some bigger tanks and bigger fish. Been in the Aquaria hobby for close to 35 years. Ive played with most all aspects of Fish tanks. Salt, Fresh, Reef, Planted, Cichlids.... etc.. Most of my time for the last few years has been dedicated to planted Aquaria. I also make Co2 set ups for people. Currently I just added some big tanks for other purposes then planted. Id like to get into some Big South/Central America Cichlids and some stingrays.

Anyhow........ I dedcided to start posting here some of my planted tanks for you. Not all of them are up and running anymore. I kinda went a lil crazy with Multiple tank addiction. More then you could count... So ive down sized how many planted tanks im currently doing as id like to spread out to my other fish interests. BUT I will keep some of the planted stuff as I still love it so.

Here is one of my 90 gallon High Tech Set ups. Its got T5H0 lighting, PAR data is high to super high light. Light hangs from the ceiling about 8 inches above the tank. The substrate is Pool filter sand. I run a 20lb co2 bottle with a self built custom Dual stage Conoca regulator, high end Needle valve by Swagelok. It introduces the Co2 to the water via my custom built multi stage/Passage reactor. The reactor is 36" tall. This is the reactor I like to use on most all my builds. Smaller ones for smaller set ups Bigger for bigger. I have various powerheads circulating water. Filtration is currently run by a TruAqua CF500UV canister filter and a FX5 Canister filter. There is also a Aquaclear110 on the back for basic mechanical filtration and some surface aggitation on one side of the tank while a outlet of the FX5 agitates the other side. I currently have about 25 different species of plants. They rang from substrate level to over 24 inches tall. I can trim the tank and in a week get more then 7 to 8 inches of growth on most the plants. Ive got quite a few fish in it as well. Rainbow fish, Various Rams, Tetras, Loaches, Plecos, Otos and Redline torpedo barbs and even Snails and shrimps.

So here are some of my pics of this tank. I hope you like them. Sorry for any of the not so great photos. All of them have been taken with my Phone.
