I hope he has a full recovery, as he had to be given calcium injections when he first arrived back at the original breeder because he couldn't move.
But he's pretty active, and loves sleeping under my shirt on my chest because it's warm. Then he just peeks his head out when he's done. He seems very tame and docile, which is unusual since the person that bought him originally never handled him.
But, I'm pretty sure he will make a great pet, and I can't wait until he gets bigger! Once he gets bigger, I may just get another one to keep him company.
Gerrhosaurus major bottegoi is the species... but the buy I got him from is the only person who has captive bred them. So, I'm pretty lucky.
Also, I think I've finally picked his name.. Spartacus.
