Nice jag. Never heard of a platinum jag though. And if it’s F1, where is the catch location or how do you know it’s really a F1 fish?

To be honest, actually, this is for display and Fengshui purpose and is not for sale by the LFS Owner itself but i keep on ask and ask at last he let it go... as for the catch location i not sure but i heard this jag is imported not local breed

Usually F1 is first gen spawn from wild caught fish or F0. The owner should know the catch location if it’s F1. Not sure what that owner really means by imported, but if it’s F1, it’s not a wild caught fish.
Some LFS try to increase their sales by giving fancy names. It’s either that or he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
But if you can get it, it’s still a nice fish.

Nice fish beautiful fin and body shape.
I agree. F0 is wild caught F1 means it’s first generation to be spawned in captivity.
But, I do not see anything that look platinum. It looks like a good quality fish, but not what I would call platinum.
As far as sex I could be wrong because the fish is still pretty young but it looks female to me.

Enlarging the photos I noticed the notch at the anal fin. Is this fish eat and pooing properly? Looks like may have some pressure or constipation.
It may be nothing it just looks a little weird.
