He's a beauty, about 1 1/4 feet.Plese tell me what # .He's a Gibiceps and he lives with 2 blue arawonnas

Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps is the scientific name which now rules over the l number system that is there for prelinary identification of plecos. The L numbers given to this pleco were L083, L165 and L196. these are now just common names for the plec as it has now been descibed scientifically. I have a couple currently, they are great plecos, but not as monster as yours. hope your feeding that bad boy plenty of meats aswell as veg!

They LOVE peeled lima beans, squash, zuchinni, shrimp pellets, etc...

at that size, they need a lot of meat in their diet too to keep them healthy
